And you were Indiana Jones in all the movies we wrote.
Hale-Bopp in the sky above us hanging like an ornament.
Ivy-covered buildings feeling so mysterious and ancient.

Our dog ran down the road, but nights he always came home.
He dragged potted plants outside, tried to bury himself alive.
I was never young enough to think that there were easy answers.
I could only bring him in and wipe the dirt off from his fur.

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
